The client was seeking extra security within a warehouse to help protect higher valued items that may attract theft, the client considered it necessary to introduce additional security measures to hinder/delay the activity of any persons forcing entry to the warehouse once the intruder alarm has activated and the alarm receiving centre has been notified of this action. To achieve this level of security the customer asked for a security fog device to be installed and maintained in full accordance with BS EN 50131-8 and any local Police or Fire Brigade requirements.

Upon request we Installed a concept smoke screen system within the warehouse, the smoke screen installed is a sentinel S70. The Sentinel S70 can be installed in many configurations, the compact size and strong performance make it perfect for most applications, offices, workshops, service stations and warehouses. The system can be installed anywhere thieves may strike.

To help protect various items, we have made provisions to cover the entire warehouse rather than a specific area. We installed 5 ceiling-mounted concept smoke units, 5 suspension kits, 1 system interface, and 1 MEWP. The installation complies with the association of Insurance Surveyors Security Fogging Code of Practice.
